The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It is held each year at the scenic Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

2009 Recap

With a history of delivering the best that MotoGP has to offer, the 2009 Iveco Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix didn’t disappoint with local hero Casey Stoner winning a gripping race.

The Island has a reputation for being one of the most unique destinations on the international circuit. With panoramic ocean views and great spectator vantage points all around the track, it was an unforgettable weekend for all who were there.

Spectators saw Stoner and championship leader Valentino Rossi battle out an epic contest with the Australian pulling away on the final lap to secure his third straight victory at Phillip Island.
